What’s the Advantage of Shut-off Gas Meter Valve RKF-4Ⅱ?

RKF-4Ⅱ is our simplest shut-off valve, which is specially installed into gas meters to control natural gas or LPG disconnection. It adopts a Snap-on design and does not use any screws that simplify the structure and greatly improves corrosion resistance. And it owns high compatibility for it can be assembled into various specifications of gas meters, such as G1.6, G2.5, etc. It has high explosion-proof because it has passed the ATEX explosion-proof certification and TUV certification. And its short switch time, the opening time and closing time are less than 1 second (DC3V) each time. In addition, it has characteristics of low cost, low-pressure loss, high stability, durability, good sealing, low power consumption and etc.

RKF-4Ⅱ Built-in Gas Meter Valve’s Advantages:

1. Durability and high explosion-proof;

2. Low-pressure drop and good sealing;

3. Stable structure, max pressure can reach 200 mbar;

4. Small shape, easy to install;

5. Low costs and low power consumption;

6. Snap-on design with high rust resistance;

7. Short switch time within 1 second.

Instructions:

1. This valve has two-line, four-line, and five-line models for option. The red wire is connected to the "+/-" pole and the black wire is connected to the “ -/+” pole to open the valve (specifically, it can be set according to your requirements). The other 2 or 3 wires can be signal wires of open/close.

2. Four-wire or five-wire valve opening and closing process time setting: When opening and closing the valve, when the detection device detects that the opening or closing valve is in place, it needs to delay 300ms before stopping the power supply, and the total time of opening the valve is about 1s.

3. The minimum drive voltage of the valve shall not be lower than 3V. If the current limit design is in the process of opening and closing the valve, the current limit value shall not be lower than 120mA.

4. The motor valve opening and closing can be judged by detecting the locked-rotor current in the circuit. The locked-rotor current value can be calculated according to the working cut-off voltage of the circuit design, which is only related to the voltage and resistance value.
